This is my blog from my youth exchange year in Austria. No exchange will ever be the same but, if you have been accepted to Austria, maybe even Innsbruck, then this will help you a lot during those final days of waiting to come here. Even if you haven't been accepted or even applied yet, this can still help you.
Rotary Youth Exchange is an international program that works with students from the ages of 15-18 years old. When I applied, I had just turned 15 but, I left when I had just turned 16. The application process is long but worth every second of filling it out, and redoing it, because the experience of coming to live in someone else's shoes in somewhere completely different is something that is once in a lifetime. If you live in Southern Pennsylvania then I can help you quite a bit since I live there and my sponsoring district is 7390. If you are not from that area, then I might be able to reach out to ROTEX (passed exchange students) or to Inbounds (people in their host country) who could help you. |
Rotary Inbounds to Austria: including students from the United States, Brazil, Columbia, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Peru, Canada...
